LustTone from Rethymno, a brand new duo that consists of members of Gemma and Dot on Earth is one of the fastest rising and most important domestic acts in the wider Darkwave scene. Combining 80s influences with modern Darkwave/Coldwave & Post-Punk elements, Lusttone narrate stories of love, pain, loss and melancholy, all engulfed in a dark and cold sonic veil. Dominant bass lines, melodic guitars, enchanting synths and enigmatic vocals elaborately weave a pitch-black old school “web” with references to important bands of the genre, while at the same time resoundingly imposing their personal mark.
